"Rocky Mountain Lichen" Series—detail

DSCN3616 Detail of the shawl in the photo above. Renditions of the lichen I often see while hiking in the mountains.  The green is three colors of bamboo thread mixed to make a color reminiscent of lichen.  Each shawl is woven with a different color over the lichen green—from left: dark blue (bamboo & Tencel); one of the lichen greens (all bamboo) ; black (bamboo & silk).
