Introducing....The Wilsall Wrap

Named after the town where I live in Montana, the Wilsall Wrap is a garment that wears like a shawl except you put it over your head.  This means there is no extra fabric to fall off your shoulder! Very easy to wear, it's an all-season garment.  

In the spring, it offers a bit of extra warmth as we transition into warmer weather.  In the summer, wear a camisole under it and you've just dressed up your jeans.  In fall, you'll love to have it at hand for that bit of added warmth...and in winter with a thin wool layer underneath, it's perfect in a restaurant where it might me a bit cool.

All Wilsall wraps are made of tencel which I hand painted in my Montana Studio. Scroll down to see the array of colors I have woven into these Wilsall Wraps.  And while, you're looking, note the various ways you can wear the wrap.  The top can be folded into a cowl or worn flat or ...use your imagination to suit your style.

The Montana Collar (The M.T. Collar)

I call this the M.T. Collar...Fill it with your neck!

The Montana Collar is a a handwoven piece of wearable art, like my other work.  All Collars are made of threads that I personally dyed in my Montana studio.

The M.T. Collar is like a short scarf with a button for decoration and a snap closure.  There is no tying.  The Collar is meant for those times when a scarf is too much, and when you want a versatile, attractive, cozy neck decoration.

The M.T. Collar is also easy to remove for those times when you're too warm, then you need to put it back on because you're chilled.  

It's just the thing for an evening at a friend's house, at a restaurant, or just at home...perfect with a V-neck, crew neck or turtleneck.

Wilsall Wrap #1

This Wilsall Wrap is woven in tencel I hand painted in my Montana studio.  The colors are taupes, brown with a bit of a green glow as you can see to the right. This wrap is wearable with just about any color and will dress up even the most casual ensemble!
